Jenna Fischer's most famous role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. In recognition of her performance, she won an Emmy award for the Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won 2 SAG Awards.
Anne, her mother, was a performer in church theater while she was a kid, which instilled a love of performance and theater in Jenna. Jenna watched as her mother Anne was in the church stage. She was awed by performance and theater was instilled when she was a little girl.
A trained theater actress, Fischer returned to her roots after wrapping The Office. In the Off-Broadway Play Reasons To Be Happy composed by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer starred. In the following play, she was a part of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
In the month of October, Fischer and The Office co-star and best friend in real life Angela Kinsey began the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. The podcast has since gained immense popularity, settling within the Top Ten globally every week and gaining over 200 million downloads within its initial two years. The podcast premiered in January of 2021. Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide in which she describes her path to Hollywood acting as a professional as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends who were There, a memoir of the best relationship they shared and their time in The Office.
